This vintage mid 19th century elegant coin silver water pitcher is stylishly decorated with four elaborate framed scrolled panels. Within three of the four is a repousse’ motif of conch seashells. The central anterior panel displays an inscription that reads E. FRAZER, from her brother W. The base of the pitcher is stamped with the hallmark of a lion anchor G above the word COIN. The hallmark is that of the Gorham company circa 1855 – 1860. It is a sturdy solid coin silver pitcher in very good to excellent condition with one minute “ding”. 11 1/2″ tall X 8 1/4″ wide.
