Length: 5.78 mm. Width : 3.94 mm. Color: opaque bright blue hue with a tan matrix. Accent Stone Measurements/Color. Stone Treatment : The stone(s) appear to be untreated, but we are not certified gemologists. Stone(s) have been tested and guaranteed using a professional Presidium Duo refractive, heat, and hardness tester. Stone Cuts : Carved and polished cabochon. Bale opening measurements : 4 mm across. Handmade in the 1930s by a talented Navajo silversmith. 900 sterling silver, also known as coin silver, a popular purity of silver during this time period. Features a bright blue turquoise resting in a bezel setting. The turquoise accents the center of a handmade cross motif, each arm fanning out in three directions. Completed with a standard bale for wear as a pendant. Damage : Age appropriate wear. There is minor wear to the back of the pendant, which would not be visible when worn. Tarnish on the sterling silver gives the necklace an antique quality we believe is rather lovely; tarnish can be removed with a buffing, if desired. The price has been reduced to reflect this.
