Based on date, I would expect it to be Coin Silver made by John Curry, Philadelphia c1830’s. Curry (b1798 – d1868) was in Philadelphia (and Newburgh PA) from 1825 to 1867. He was in a partnership (mark changed) from 1825 to 1831 with Preston. Based on that partnership, this mark was from after 1831. The rear stem / handle of the ladle is marked J. The front handle has a monogram. This Early Ladle would be a Great Addition to any Antique / Vintage Silver Collection. Size: Length 13 Weight: 188.7 Grams Coin Silver (possibly Sterling).
