This mark has been observed in a number of different retailers in the Chicago area (1850 to 1885). Peacock (Elijah) founded a Chicago based Jewelry store in 1837. Today the company is the oldest existing retailer in Chicago today known as C. Peacock / House of Peacock. There are no monograms on the spoons.
