This is a beautiful coin and sterling silver spoon made by E. This spoon is decorated with a twisting handle and an engraved floral pattern, as well as a monogram on the back of the handle. The spoon was made in 1830, but the date on the monogram reads 1903. Weight: 13.07 Grams. September was Watch Month! Antique Edwardian sterling silver ladies coin purse – Beautiful engraved purse. This beautiful antique Edwardian sterling silver ladies coin purse is in wonderful condition. More often than not the inner fabric parts are in a poor state, but this example is still in lovely condition. There is even an original Elizabeth 2nd 4 D stamp in it from the original owner. The purse is fully hallmarked. The engraving on the outside is gorgeous and gives the purse a fab look. A cracking example of this antique silver purse. Please see our photo’s for more detail. Antique BAYSTATE IMPERIAL COIN SILVER POCKET WATCH CASE 3oz Engraved. Beautifully engraved heavy coin silver pocket watch case. This is a thick case and the heaviest I’ve ever handled. It weighs in at 95g (over 3oz) of coin silver. Coin silver is generally 90% pure and was the standard grade of silver used in the U. In the late 18th and most of the 19th century, before silver was discovered in the American west. It’s called coin silver because America literally had to melt down old silver coins to make new silver items. After we made enemies of England we had no way to get silver so were left to melt old coins that were generally 90% silver. The back of the case is very skillfully engraved with a nice village scene and other decorative elements. The case in good functional condition with age appropriate wear. Some surface scratches to silver and crystal but nothing big at all.
